TransHotel Web Services are interfaces to TransHotel's booking engine which can be implemented into any web site, intranet or extranet.
The WebServices are available for TransHotel, Booking Express and HotelPlus.
TransHotel does not charge for the use of interfaces. All services can be integrated free of charge.
The MicroSite is the fastest and easiest of TransHotel's interfaces to integrate.
The MicroSite interface enables agencies to easily take advantage of TransHotel's database and offer on-line hotel reservations to their end users. This solution consists basically of plugging TransHotel's booking interface into the agency's website.
The MicroSite is completely transparent to the user. It will look as if the entire reservation is done through the agency.
The format of the MicroSite is fixed and must be implemented as-is. However, colours, fonts, and form appearance (css) can be changed in order for the MicroSite to integrate seamlessly into the current web site.
When using the MicroSite payment can be handled either by TransHotel or by the agency itself.
A programmer will be needed to integrate the MicroSite. When using TransHotel's payment module, the implementation takes approximately 1 week to complete. Otherwise approximately 4 weeks is more realistic.
The XML Web Service interface enables the agency to control and customize the hotel,tours and transfers reservations application to a much larger extent than with the MicroSite.
Since the XML Web Service consists of providing raw data, the agency has full control to implement these data into their website in the manner that they prefer. All design will be made by the agency, and therefore no design restrictions will exist. You build the user interface and can customize this completely as you please.
However, this also means that the implementation task is much greater than for the MicroSite. At least 1 to two months should be expected in order to implement the XML Web Service, and an advanced programmer will be required in order to complete the integration.
When using the XML Web Service payment can be handled either by TransHotel or by the agency itself.
